Milk thistle (silymarin) protects against a variety of hepatotoxic agents. In animal studies, Silymarin protects liver cells against a variety of hepatotoxins, including drugs (acetaminophen, amitriptyline, and erythromycin) toxins (a-amantin from deathcap mushrooms, alcohol, and carbon tetrachloride), hemosiderin, viruses and radiation. Silymarin scavenges free radicals, blocks toxin entry into cells by competing for receptor sites, inhibits inflammation, and stimulates liver regeneration.
Silymarin is the biological extract of milk thistle (silybum marianum L.), and silibinin is the major active constituent of silymarin. Silymarin has been evaluated clinically in the treatment of hepatitis and liver damage caused by by alcohol or by antituberculosis drugs. Silibnin is a very strong antioxidant compound capable of scavenging both free radicals and reactive oxygen species.

Each tablet is to feed up to 20kg
