VETEXPERT OTICURANT (24 SACHETS)

A powder designed for daily ear hygiene
 Oticurant® is ideal for cats and dogs. This product comes in powder form and absorbs moisture and fats while reducing pH to below 4, which results in maximum inhibition of the microorganisms growth. 
 At pH 5 the Staphylococcus pseudointermedius growth is inhibited, and at pH 4 it stops completely.
 
 The product supports the normal physiological condition of the ear, soothes itching, and prevents unpleasant odors. The disagreeable smell is caused by the proliferation of fungi and bacteria, which begin to grow at an uncontrollable rate as a result of the wax and moisture that accumulate in the auditory canal. The metabolic side products of fungi are the source of unpleasant odor.
 
 Oticurant® restores the physiological balance by binding the moisture and wax that nourish fungi and bacteria and promote their proliferation.
 
 Lactic acid lowers the pH, which makes the environment even less hospitable.
 
 Research has also confirmed Oticurant® to have strong absorptive properties, which guarantees optimally clean ears.
 
 
  📌 Composition:
 The patented composition of OTICURANT® binds moisture and helps to remove wax deposits, preventing the multiplication of bacteria and fungi. OTICURANT® neutralizes unpleasant odors from the ears and prevents problems with the ears - especially droopy ones.
 
 Active ingredients: 6-deoxy-L-galactose, oligosaccharides, lactic acid, excipients. (Patented)
 - 6-deoxy-L-galactose - supports regeneration, stabilizes the environment inside the ear.
 - Oligosaccharides - prebiotics that support the multiplication of protective bacterial microflora.
 - Lactic acid - ensures an appropriate pH level, thus limiting the multiplication of bacteria and yeasts. Also safe for allergy sufferers, it has a strong moisturizing effect.
 The remaining ingredients bind moisture and earwax, and normalize the environment inside the ear.
 
 
  📌 Instruction for proper use:
 1. Shake the powder in the sachet before opening it.
 2. Hold the raised ear with one hand and pour the powder into the ear canal.
 3. Let go of your ear. After administration, massaging the ear is not necessary.
 4. It is normal for the dog to shake its head after dosing.
 
 If Oticurant® is used for the first time, apply the contents of one sachet per ear every day for 5 days, and, subsequently, one sachet per ear once a week as hygiene treatment.
 
 Use 1/2 of a sachet per ear for dogs with a bodyweight below 10 kg and 2 sachets for those weighing more than 40 kg.
